Internship Arkite

I started an internship at Arkite Genk in Belgium. During my time at Arkite, I do research on the implementation of EtherCAT in the Arkite Augmented Reality system using Rexroth CtrlX or RTOS virtual machine.
At Senzer (NL) I'm setting up a full manual Assambly line for Helpsoq.
I'm working with Arkite software and mySQL database.
This internship is a fantastic opportunity for me to gain hands-on experience in the field of augmented reality and IoT. I am excited to apply my skills to this state-of-the-art technology. I am looking forward to collaborating with the talented team at Arkite and contributing to the development of their innovative AR system.

SICK Solution Hackathon

I attended the SICK Hackathon in Freiburg Germany in october 2022, an amazing event that brought together innovative minds from around the world to solve some of the biggest challenges in healthcare and medical technology. I was able to work with people from different backgrounds to develop new and groundbreaking solutions that could potentially revolutionize the future of healthcare. I had the exciting opportunity to present my project and network with professionals in the industry. During this two-day event, I gained valuable experience and knowledge which I plan to use in future projects. All in all, this was a truly remarkable and memorable event.

Life Saver

I took on the job of a lifeguard in 2021 as a student job in Hasselt, I'm still in it and it is a rewarding experiences. The role requires me to be constantly alert and aware of potential hazards in and around the water. I use my knowledge of lifesaving skills and rescue equipment to rescue people in need and provide emergency medical assistance. It also involves proactively inspecting the area and educating the public about water safety. There is no greater feeling than knowing that I am making a difference by helping to save lives.

Courier Medical Lab

I was a courier for a medical lab (LKO-LMC Sint-Truiden) in the summer op 2019 and 2020. Every day I traveled between the lab and other medical facilities, bringing with me several kind of samples that were essential for health of the patients. My job may not have been glamorous, but I got to see first-hand the amazing work the lab was doing and how it was helping to improve people’s lives. My day started with driving arround to the doctors. After it I needed to check all the samples and documents so the laboratory technicians could do their job.

President Youth Council

I have the honor of becoming the president of the youth council. My role as president involves leading and managing the other members of the council, guiding them through discussions and decision-making processes. I am passionate about positively impacting my local community, and work hard to ensure that our initiatives and campaigns are successful. My goal is to promote collaboration and communication among our members and to create meaningful change in our community. It has been a rewarding experience so far and I look forward to continuing in my role as president of the youth council.

Electrician

In the summer op 2018 I worked as an electrican for Kaspers Technics in Landen (BE). As an electrician, I was responsible for inspecting, repairing, and installing electrical wiring and systems. My daily tasks involve working with circuit breakers, light switches, outlets, and other components to ensure that all electrical equipment operates efficiently and safely. I also have to be knowledgeable about safety protocols and regulations, and ensure that all work is completed in accordance with these standards. It was an exciting and fulfilling experience.

Swimming Trainer

I took on the role of a swimming teacher and coach. My job involves teaching basic as well as advanced swimming techniques to kids since 2016 and to adults since 2019. I also design  training plans for swimmers, keeping in mind their skills and objectives. Additionally, I am expected to instill critical safety knowledge in my students, and make sure their swimming experience is both safe and enjoyable. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience so far and I look forward to continuing in my role as a swimming teacher and coach.
